I am not a bird watcher but I liked the iridescent blue color of these birds, and they weren't afraid of the camera. I looked on whatbird.com and think they are tree swallows. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Swallows for sure... I love them, how they swoop and dive to catch insects... nicely captured!
They are pretty birds and I agree swallows. When they fly, they look like little arrows. We have many in my neighborhood. They seem to like to perch on mailboxes--especially mine! Sometimes I don't want to open my mailbox lid--if you get my drift. I think that if they are tree swallows, they should stick to the trees.
