I missed Skywatch Friday yesterday but I saw they are looking for a new host. I hope someone steps up since it is such a nice meme. Today I'm putting up two sky shots. The first is what the sky looked like through my kitchen window when I got up.
The second is a couple of hours later when we were getting "heavy" snow. Having grown up in Indiana, this seems pretty insignificant, but around here this is a major snow event.

I love the sunrise picture. Beautiful colors! The snow..... Not so much. I'm ready for spring.

The sunrise picture is beautiful, but with the black and white, you made the snow look very ugly. Snow can be beautiful--it just shouldn't stick around very long!
Actually both pics are SOOC, no touch-ups or changes in the color. I didn't even crop them. So that is a pretty accurate representation of our snow. It stayed around for a couple of hours and then was all melted!
