He must be a mountain goat. I hope that the next time you are there a real goat will be perched on top of the sculpted one. Wouldn't that be fun!?
On Paul Hill's website, there is a picture of the sculpture--or at least one like it, titled "For No Apparent Reason." Looks like it might have been purchased from him after 2009.
I guess I would have been able to pass that info along, but I was having a lazy day and didn't take the time to google it. Thanks for the update!
