The planters along the pedestrian bridge have pansies blooming in them. There are several sitting next to benches, making it a pretty place to stop and enjoy the view of the river and downtown. I thought the homeless man made this an interesting composition.

Yes, I totally agree with you - very interesting juxtaposition - obvious care taken to the flowers in winter, the well-painted bridge, the lovely railing, the verdigris lamp stand, the scroll detail on the bench, and the homeless man (who almost blends in). Even the nice condos in the background add to this. I love it!
