Fireworks

This is the first time I have ever attempted to take pictures of fireworks. The first picture shows the beautiful color and detail of the fireworks.
The second picture is a much longer exposure and the fireworks just appear like white blobs. But I like how the bridge and riverfront are illuminated in this shot.

It is so hard to take shots of fireworks. I'm so impressed at how amazing your images are. Beautiful view, makes me think I was there. Thanks for sharing!

The setting I used for the first photo was ISO 100, 18mm, f/5.6, 3.0 sec. The settings for the second photo was: ISO 100, 18mm, f/5.6, 27.0 sec. I used a tripod, but I don't have a remote or they would probably be a little more clear.

Amazing captures -- fireworks are difficult! Happy Friday! I enjoyed my first full week back blogging after the birth of my son. If you haven't already done so, please stop by my blog to say hello and
"Like" Hood Photography on Facebook! Thanks!

Great shots! I like to see the shows like that, but I'm a real home body and crowds don't appeal to me.
