I'm surprised that there would be a sign on this bridge or any bridge, for that matter, to encourage climbers. It's not something I'd like to do. I've always like pictures of bridges, especially from below, like this shot. Nice image!
If you look closely at the right side of the pillar you can see the artificial hand/foot holds. There is also a chain link fence around the bottom which is only open on Saturdays and Sundays when Outdoor Chattanooga is there to help you. They don't encourage anyone to free climb on the bridge on their own. Guess I should have made that clear.Sorry.
